Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make Telehealth Awareness Week 2019 a success! Now that this week is solidified at the stakeholder level, our goal is to focus more on patient awareness and education.  Along with our SCTA partners, we hosted events in three cities and towns where we engaged with practitioners, insurance payers, technology partners, regulators and lawmakers to develop even more services in SC. Lastly, we got the word out about Telehealth Awareness Week in a big way on social media with #TAW2019 being posted close to a hundred times from other telehealth providers, sites, technology companies and insurance payers of telehealth services.  Parting notes:Hats off Palmetto Care Connections for another great regional symposium (ABC News 15 coverage, other media hits, Moultrie News, Chronicle-IndependentThe ‘sweetest’ social media post goes to Kershaw Health who filled a container with candy corn that equals the amount of tele visits they’ve done.
