The Online Master of Science in Health Informatics from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) was designed for working professionals like you. Our hybrid model gives you the opportunity to advance your career, without putting it on hold. Coursework for the four semester, executive-style program is completed online, with on-campus visits in Charleston, S.C. held once per semester.

As an academic health center, MUSC is uniquely positioned to provide students with firsthand experience working with EHR systems, telemedicine/tele-health, patient portals, mobile technologies, health information exchanges, and health informatics research. This valuable experience will prepare you for positions like data analytics officer, clinical systems analyst, health IT project manager, chief medical officer, or chief nursing officer. We are currently accepting applications for the next cohort starting in August 2020.
